ABOUT ME

My art is a celebration of the fusion between two worlds - the artistry of the canvas and the passion of the pitch.  I am Lili Cantero, a Paraguayan artist who finds her muse in the world of football. My canvas is unconventional; it's not just brushes and paint, but football gear and accessories. With each stroke and every detail, I aim to capture the essence of a sport that unites people across the globe.

Born in Asunción, Paraguay, my journey in the art world began with an unyielding desire to break the traditional mold. I turned to football, a sport that's not only a game but a source of inspiration, unity, and unbridled emotion. This beautiful game is a language spoken and understood worldwide, transcending boundaries and cultures.

The energy on the field is my muse, and the boots and balls are my canvas. I've found that there's a remarkable synergy between the artistry of football and the artistry of the canvas. Each stroke and detail tells a story, capturing the essence of the sport that unites us.

My artistic journey has taken me from local exhibitions in Asunción to international acclaim. I've been fortunate to collaborate with respected brands and create artwork for football icons such as Lionel Messi, Gianni Infantino, Maradona, Pelé, and others. I've had the privilege of sharing my art at significant sporting events, from Argentina to Mexico, the USA, and even Qatar during the FIFA World Cup.

 

Some media outlets, like CNN and The New York Times, have kindly recognized my work. My aim is to continue merging football and art, and capturing the game's essence in every brushstroke.  My goal is to open up a world of possibilities and nurture imagination, reminding everyone that inspiration are within reach in every corner of life.
